He likes music more then anyone you've ever known
He's out every night, in Bristol town, Dancing to the best new bands around
But why he doesn't come to mine, i'll never know
He's Something of a legend on the music scene
If Big Jeff's on the guest list then youre gonna be pleased
you know it means you're doing something right
and your the best band on in town tonight
But i guess, that never has been me
When Big Jeff hears music he sees colours
im not sure if thats actually true, but that's what my girlfriend reckons
she said, if Big Jeff doesn't like your music, well maybe it's because of the colour it produces
I think we both know it's too late for that now
But i've never let that stop me before
i've cut a lot of corners and i'll cut a lot more
and if i wanna get Big Jeff's attention
i'm just gonna write a song about him
And that brings us to where we are right now
So Big Jeff, if you're out there, are you listening
and will you come to my gig, next time i come to Bristol
i'm sorry that you don't like the colour of my song, but it would be really great if you still came along
it would make this whole circle complete
